Jason Kyle Reels, 50, of North Kingstown, Rhode Island, passed away peacefully at his home on October 26, 2025, surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He faced his illness with strength, dignity, and the heart of a warrior.
Jason was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend - deeply loved by all who knew him. For more than 18 years, he was a dedicated employee at Toray Plastics in Quonset Point, North Kingstown, where his work ethic, reliability, and warm spirit earned him the respect of colleagues and friends alike.
Jason was a member of the Narragansett Indian Tribe, and he had a lifelong passion for custom-designed collectibles - from knives and jewelry to various forms of artwork - and his creativity and craftsmanship reflected his unique personality and attention to detail.
Jason leaves behind his beloved wife, Amanda (Tetreault) Reels, and their cherished son, Braxton Reels, both of North Kingstown. He is also survived by his mother, Cynthia Stanton of Westerly, and his father & stepmother, Martin & Kathy Reels of South Kingstown; siblings Martin Reels Jr. of Warwick, Ryan Reels of West Warwick, Kayla (Reels) Murphy of Carmel, CA, Brett Reels of Exeter, and Katrina (Reels) Mowbray of South Kingstown; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who loved him dearly.
Jason's strength, generosity, humor, and gentle spirit will be remembered always. His legacy of love and perseverance will live on through his family and all whose lives he touched.
Visitation to honor Jason will be held on Monday, November 3rd from 5-7pm in the Avery Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jason's honor may be made to his son, Braxton, as a tribute to his enduring love and devotion as a father.
