Sue Carol Logan passed away peacefully on October 30, 2025 in Layton, Utah with her loving husband at her side.

Sue was born on August 10, 1943, to Edward Hampton and Ellen Hulst, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was married to Larry Logan on December 7, 1968, in the Lutheran Church in Salt Lake City after meeting him on a blind date and Larry says, “He Hit the Jackpot!” They were married 57 years and together they had one child and lived in Fruit Heights, Utah.

Sue was a teacher for many years working at Fremont Elementary and other schools in Davis County, she retired from Davis School District in 2012; she loved her job and all the students that crossed her path.

Sue loved taking long drives with Larry up to Farmington Canyon in the Jeep, She had a love for horses and one of her favorite things was seeing the horses down the road and feeding them carrots as often as possible. Sue’s hobbies were sewing, riding dirt bikes, snowmobiling, boating, and riding 4-wheelers, but her favorite was to get out and drive and see the scenery.

She was a devout Christian and loved her Savior.

Sue is survived by her husband, Larry Logan, son Clay (Cindy) Logan, grandchildren, Josh, Sara, and Zeke, her bonus children Kirk and Kristie, and her cat Rusty.
