Sue Lytle Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home and Crematory - Midland on Jan. 6, 2026.
Sue Lytle, 84, of Midland, passed away on Monday, January 5, 2026, at her home in Midland, TX. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 9, 2026, from 5:00-7:00PM at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at 10:00AM at Kelview Heights Baptist Church in Midland.

Sue was born on July 18, 1941, to Josie and Bruce Redmon in Cyril, Oklahoma. Her family moved to Monahans in 1946 where she would eventually meet her future husband at the malt shop where she worked. She was always happy-go-lucky and loved telling stories from her childhood about spending time with her brothers and sisters. A favorite story of her childhood was when the fireman would deliver Christmas gifts. She enjoyed studying her bible, attending church, cooking, baking and spending time with family. She knew what she wanted from life and married her true love and began raising a family. Holidays were among her favorite moments, often filled with games, laughter, and memories that will be treasured for generations. As she matured, her life took on maturity in the Lord, and she dearly loved serving her Savior. Her life stood for God, family, and friends, giving her best to all three.

Those who knew Sue will remember her gentle strength, her faith-filled heart, and the love she so freely gave. Her legacy lives on in the family she cherished and the many lives she touched with kindness, laughter, and grace.

She is survived by her daughter Tammy Foster of Midland, TX; son, Kevin Lytle and wife, Priscilla of Humble, TX; brother, Raymond Redmon of Katy, TX; grandson, Jimmy Winstead of Midland, TX; grandson Charlie Winstead of Amarillo, TX; grandson Terence Lytle of Hanover, MD; grandson, Jace Lytle of Conroe, TX; grandson, Daylan Lytle of Humble, TX; granddaughter, Isabel Lytle of Humble, TX; and seven great-grandchildren; Lexie Winstead, Noah Winstead, Lincoln Winstead, Lucas Winstead, Ellie Winstead, Jaxon Lytle, and Emma Lytle.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Lytle, her parents, Josie and Bruce Redmon; sisters Marie Wells, Mildren Steen, Annie Everts, Elizabeth Carroll; brothers Billy Redmon, Jimmy Redmon, Leroy Redmon, and Richard Coss
