Sue Collett Noto passed away peacefully on September 15, 2025, after a brief battle with cancer.

Sue was born to Ollie Jane Collett Tipton and Charles Collett in Harlan County, Kentucky, on August 1, 1947.

Sue truly knew that it was more blessed to give than to receive. Her generosity knew no bounds. She was cheerful, caring, hardworking, fiercely loyal and loving. In her early years she remembered food being scarce, so her love language was naturally good old-fashioned country food. Sue spent her life sacrificing, dedicated and inexhaustibly working in production and factory work until retirement.

Sue is survived by her only daughter, Cynthia Ann McGee and son-in-law Beradino McGee of Reedville, Virginia. Sue was lovingly dedicated to her grandsons; Brandon Neil McGee who was born severely and profoundly disabled, and twins Christopher Brett McGee and Christian Brent McGee. She adored all six of her great-grandchildren. Sue lived to see all three of her grandsons living and enjoying their lives. Christopher and his partner Nicolette W. Bernardes, with daughter Luna Violet Bernardes McGee; Christian and his wife Bernadette Marie Bayoca Bennett McGee, with their children Amaliyah Rose McGee, DeAngelo Orion McGee, Eilani Lila McGee, Ferro Zilonis McGee, and Gyzelle Estella Luna McGee. Sue is also survived by her sisters Alice Minter, Nella Lambert, Norma Ervin, Patsy Sharpe, Mary Ray, and Pamela Brookshire; and brothers Glen Tipton, and David Tipton.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents and stepfather Joe Tiption; and her brothers Tommy Tipton, Paul Tipton, and Junior Tipton.

Although Sue is gone, she will live on in our hearts and minds forever. No public services will be held at this time. The family appreciates your thoughts and well wishes.
