Sue Spring Obituary
Born in Dover, Ohio on October 20, 1944. She was the daughter of the late James Spring and Mary (Buffington) Phillips. Sue was a loving mother and grandmother who always put her boys first. She will be deeply missed by her son, Jon Martin and grandson, Jack Martin. However, we know she will be delighted to reunite with son, Mark Martin and grandson, Logan Martin in heaven.
She was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church of New Philadelphia. Sue will also be missed by surviving family members, daughter-in-law Kathy (Mike) Slutz; sisters, Sally (Jim) Clark, Sharon Lombardo, and Karon (David) Smetana; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her son and grandson, Sue was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law Joe Lombardo.
Following Sue's wishes a private service will be held. Donations in Sue's memory may be made to a scholarship fund established to honor her late grandson, Logan. Living for Logan Scholarship C/O Dover Education Foundation, PO Box 190 Dover, Ohio 44622.
