Lisa Ann Holland, 69, of Bolivar, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2025.
Lisa was the daughter of Hugh and Lois (Walton) Holland of New Philadelphia and a graduate of New Philadelphia High School and Kent State University. She was a public school teacher specializing in hearing impaired education.
Lisa also operated a sailboat restoration and refinishing business in Key West, FL. In later years she was employed by Marlowe Pharmacy and Giant Eagle Pharmacy. Lisa enjoyed volunteering in the bakery at the Historic Zoar Village and for the Red Cross blood drives. She loved nature and the wildlife in the woods behind her home in Bolivar where she was often seen feeding the birds and deer.
She is survived by her brother Matthew Holland of New Philadelphia and by her cousins and extended family.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 1:00 PM in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home at New Philadelphia. Memorial gifts may be contributed to the Historic Zoar Village or to the American Red Cross.
