Graveside service for Sue (Watson) Williams, 75, of Healdton, is scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Thursday, January 23, 2025, at Keller Cemetery with Zane Gray officiating. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Healdton.
Sue was born September 7, 1949, at Madill, OK to the late Mr. Robert Lee Watson and Mrs. Lela Viola (Beck) Watson. She departed this life January 19, 2025, at Healdton.
Raised in Wilson under the loving care of her grandparents, Dave and Willie Mae Beck, Sue cultivated a life rooted in family values. She proudly graduated from Wilson High School with the class of 1968, a testament to her dedication and commitment to her education and personal growth. On August 12, 1968, Sue married Doyal Williams in Ardmore, marking the beginning of a beautiful partnership. Together, they shared a home where Sue devoted herself to her role as a homemaker. Her nurturing nature extended far beyond her immediate household; she was known for her generous spirit, often hosting gatherings where her cooking and hospitality shone brightly. Sue had a playful side as well, enjoying games of pool that showcased her competitive yet lighthearted personality. Throughout her life, she maintained an unwavering focus on family, particularly cherishing the bonds she formed with her grandchildren, who lovingly called her Oma. While Sue had a brief tenure as a waitress and clerk, her true passion lay in fostering relationships and creating a welcoming environment for those around her. Her impact on her family and friends will forever resonate in the hearts of those she touched.
Preceding her in death are her parents and husband, Doyal on May 20, 2015.
Survivors include her daughters, Katerina Webb and husband Scott of Healdton, Kendra Ognibene and husband Pete of Guthrie, Shawn Theis and husband Adam of Las Vegas, NV; son, David Williams of Healdton; grandchildren, Taylor Webb, Megan Morris and Ryan, Dylan Webb and Mavis, Hallie Hart, Jared Theis, and Shaun Haley; great grandchildren, Kailey and Blake; special friends, Jan Johnson and Shelly Schoonover; numerous other family and friends.
