Sueann Banal Obituary Sueann (Orend) Banal, 82, formerly of Byesville, passed away Thursday (June 5, 2025) at Altercare of Cambridge.
She was born September 14, 1942 in Canton, daughter of the late Carl and Anna (Husser) Orend.
A 1960 Central Catholic High School graduate, Sueann was a homemaker and had also worked for several years at the Holiday Inn.
She was Catholic by faith and was a member of the CRHP team 10 through St. Benedicts.
Sueann loved going to bingo and was a fan of card games. She cherished spending time with her grandchildren and loved crafting trinkets for them.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Angelo David Banal, who passed away January of 2007. They were married August 10, 1963. Also deceased is a great-grandchild, Cambria McKee; and a daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Banal.
Sueann is survived by a son, Robert Banal of Cambridge; a daughter, Michele (Scott) McKee of Dundee; a brother, Robert (Nancy) Orend of Canton; five grandchildren, Rachael (Stephen) Elder, Amanda (Matthew) Bradley, Matt McKee, Austin McKee, and Alicia Banal; and five great-grandchildren, Haylee, Kaleb, Alice, Miah, and Ellie.
Visitation will be held Tuesday (June 10, 2025) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville, where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m.
Burial will be at Holly Memorial Park at a later date.
