GREENFIELD – Susan A. (Amos) Bailey, age 76, of Greenfield, Indiana, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2025. She was born in Shelbyville, Indiana on August 26, 1948 to Kervin and Ima Dene (Lay) Amos. She graduated from Howe High School.
She worked as a custodian for several years. Susan was a member of the VFW. In her free time, she loved to shop, play bingo with friends, and spend several hours outside in her garden. She had a soft spot in her heart for animals and loved her cats. She also cherished every moment she spent with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Warren; sister, Sharon Johnson; grandchildren, Kim Stephenson, Kenny Wiggins II, and Ronnie Wiggins II; great-grandchildren, Halee, Victoria, V., Bradlynn, Reace, and Julia; and great-great-grandchildren, Zoe and Chloe. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kervin and Ima Amos; brother, Thomas Amos; and great-grandson, Coleman Wiggins.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Park Cemetery in Greenfield, Indiana. Pastor Christy Woods will be officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made by mail to P.A.W.S. at 1224 W. Main Street, Greenfield, IN 46140 or by website at https://www.pawshancock.org. Friends may share a memory or condolence at www.erleweinmortuary.com.
