Susan Balon Obituary

Susan enjoyed many hours with her needle work projects and many, many more reading. Susan was very active at Center Congregational Church, including serving as vice moderator as well as moderator and was very involved in the women's group.
After retirement Susan enjoyed quiet time with her family and the family we adopted Tom and Pam Di Dio and their children and Neal and Lynne Montgomery and their children.
She leaves behind her husband Michael, son Michael P. Balon III and his wife Tara of Barre, Vermont, her brother David Schmanska and his wife Sonja of Maine, brother-in-law James Balon of West Virginia, sister-in-law Kathleen Chieka and her husband Robert of Georgia, as well as several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers please feel free to donate to your favorite charity in her memory.
Services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family.
