Susan Bersani of Syracuse, NY passed away on March 3, 2025 after multiple battles with cancer.
Susan leaves behind her sons Ernest (Lisa) Bersani, Aubrey, Owen & Camille, and Joseph (Bekah) Bersani, along with the true light of her life, her granddaughter Emma.
Susan was a lifetime resident of the North Side, growing up there and attending Assumption School. Susan has served her community by working at Leihs & Steigerwalds for over 20 years, becoming one of the friendliest faces, and customers were always happy to see & chat with. Recently, she was a manager at the Hampton Inn, bringing her charisma with her.
Susan had a way of leading people with happiness and understanding, making everyone she met love her. She especially enjoyed spending time with Emma and fully embraced her role of being her grandma.
Susan will be greatly missed by her family and so much of the community she had such an impact on.
Friends may call on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, from 4 - 7 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St, N. Syracuse, NY.
