Love! A word that defines Susan J. Brennan, who passed from this earth into Yahweh's loving arms on October 5, 2021. Loving daughter, loving mother, loving wife, loving friend. Susan is predeceased by her father Michele V. Prestipino and mother Mary Prestipino (San Filippo). Her beloved husband of 41 years Timothy J. Brennan recently departed this earth for heaven only 20 days earlier on September 15, 2021. In her younger days she was employed as a lab technician, a therapy aide at Letchworth Village, Gleason's Security at Nyack Hospital and Home Aides of Rockland. Susan is survived by her sister Marie Muntz (Prestipino), Marie's daughter (and Susan's niece) Jamie Fodor (Muntz) (Husband Stephen Fodor). Her two loving sons Donald W. Owens and Michael V. Owens (wife Linda Owens (Palmer), grandchildren Melissa Owens (fiancé Joseph Caban), Alex Hewitt (wife Cathy Hewitt), Amanda Hewitt, Dawn Owens, Michael Owens Jr. and 5 great grandchildren. Susan is also survived by numerous cousins and other family members, including her cousins Donna Jones, Kathy Jones and Amy Nichols (Prestipino), 3 of her best friends in the world. A special thanks to her great friends at Knights Corner, notably Lorraine, Angel and Lucy. A memorial service for Susan will be held on 11/5/21 at 10AM at the Christian Church Of Rockland, 128 W. Railroad Ave, Garnerville, NY. Thank you for everything Pastor Mark Eccher and wife Mary Grace, 2 very dear friends of both Susan and Tim. Burial to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery in Haverstraw, NY. Susan loved the lord, so In lieu of flowers or donations, read a Bible verse or two and give a listen to the song "The Maker" by Daniel Lanois. It was her all-time favorite song and an inspiration to her when times were rough. And Love thy neighbor in her honor.
