Susan Caesar Obituary
SUSAN CAESAR. 73, beloved widow of Roland Caesar, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, December 10, 2025 in her home.
A native of Philadelphia, PA, Susan was a daughter of the late Nicholas Umberto and Leona Quinn D’Ulisse. She lived in Orangeburg, SC for 28 years and was a former teacher at Orangeburg Christian Academy. Susan moved to Aiken in 2017 to be closer to her son. A devoted wife, mother, and nonni, Susan found joy in caring for children, the elderly, and everyone around her, Her warmth and kindness touched many lives, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her, especially our pups Tesla and Heidi.
Surviving is her son, Matthew Caesar of Aiken; two sisters, Marianne Lewis of Chesapeake, VA and Denise LaMonaca (Jerry) of New Jersey. In addition to her husband and parents, Susan was preceded in death by her brother, Lawrence D’Ulisse.
The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon, December 21st beginning at 2 o’clock at Shellhouse-Rivers Funeral Home. The memorial service will follow at 3 o’clock. The service will be livestreamed at https://iframe.dacast.com/b/156599/c/585055 .
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Parkinson’s Foundation (parkinson.org) .
