Susan was my best friend. We've known each other for 63 years, a lifetime. Although I was there at the celebration of life, I could not get up to speak because I am heart broken. There are too many memories to count or share.
My dearest friend, I love you and where there is a hole in my heart our memories will live forever.

So very sorry for your family loss. Susie was a delight to work alongside when she worked in Special Procedures. She was a wonderful mentor.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Sue´s passing. We met as teenagers and she quickly made me feel as if I had been a part of her inner circle forever. She was a remarkable person with the warmest smile. It´s hard to believe it has been over 50 years that we have known each other. The photo found is archival! I think we were 16! We had our nursing careers in common and she always had the greatest stories to tell, bringing laughter to those around her. My thought go out to all her family. We will all find comfort in our memories of Sue. She will be missed.

I have so many memories of our friendship. You teaching me how to dive off your dock when we were teenagers, you always asking me to 'sew my lip' which entailed me threading an imaginary needle and threading it threw my upper lip and pretending to pull the corner of my lip up and down like Elvis. You thought that was so funny. Our memories always included you, me, Jane and Nancy. Our sisterly love was maintained throughout our 60 year lifetime together. Many years ago my daughter made a collage of memories of OUR family and they always included the four of us. Our school reunions were always a highlight because we laughed together, we cried together and we new our bond would never be broken. I will miss you Sue and I know all our lives took us in different directions but our sisterly love was and always will be present. I'll miss you and always remember your beautiful smile and your happy stories you shared.
Love you Always 'Lorbs'
