Susan attended the Fashion Institute in NYC. She had a love for fashion and worked in the cosmetics field for over 20 years. Her existence reflected all the beauty this world holds.
She is survived by her parents, James Barney and Susan Barney; her brother, Christopher Barney; her step-brother James Barney, Jr.; her beloved Yorkie, Leo; her many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; and her god-children, Milania Dias and Luca Dias
A Funeral Mass will be held on May 8, 2024 at 10 am at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church,5130 Rattlesnake Rd, Naples FL.
The family would like to thank Dr. Andrew Lipman and his team at Florida Cancer Institute for their years of dedication to Susan's care, Moffitt Cancer Research and all the nurses on the Oncology floor at NCH Downtown, and Avow Hospice where she received exceptional care in her final days.

So many memories, she showed me what unconditional love is
I never thought for a second that unconditional love was her
The day she went to god my heart broke to pieces, I needed her longer in my life ,how selfish of me,i learned she was a gift from god to everyone that had the opportunity to be touched by her grace.
She will be safe in my heart

Susan and I worked together at Nordstrom for many years. We became friends and I admired her makeup artistry. She had an amazing smile and was a burst of light everyday we were together. She was very caring and kind to everyone that was lucky to meet her at the Chanel makeup counter. I will miss you my friend and you hold a special place in my heart. With love, Sara Richard
