Susan was born to Michael and Cheryl Ferguson on April 9, 1975, in Columbus, Ohio. She is survived by her father, Michael, sister Christine Tolliver (Joshua and Elliot), brother Robert Ferguson, and her four children.

Her life was sprinkled with miracles, starting at birth. She was born with significant birth defects and spent her couple months of life in an incubator. Against many odds, she grew into a vivacious child who lived life to the fullest, later going on to graduate from Gahanna Lincoln High School. She studied horticulture at Eastland Career Center as well.

Susan deeply loved her friends and family, always wanted to help others in need. She was truly a unique person; her fiery spirit, sense of humor, and caring nature were apparent to all who knew her.

Her life was not without hardships and Susan battled with her struggles until the end. She gave birth to four children whom she loved wholeheartedly but was unable to care for adequately. The children were adopted into a loving family but this loss became an immense wound that she could never fully heal from. She longed to live a healthier, happier life but the obstacles she faced became too severe to overcome.

Susan will be greatly missed by her friends and family, but they take solace in knowing she is finally at peace and reunited with her mother.

Family and friends will celebrate her life with a Funeral Mass 10:30 July 19 at St. Matthew the Apostle Church 795 Havens Corners Rd. Gahanna OH, 43230. Visitation will take place Thursday 7/18 5-6PM at Newcomer Funeral Home 3047 E Dublin Granville Rd, Columbus, OH 43231.
