Susan Hodgdon Obituary
Susan Hodgdon, 69, of Boscawen, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2025, at Merrimack County Nursing Home.
Born in Concord on October 26, 1955, to John II and Mary Gallagher, Sue was known for her generous heart and kind spirit. She worked for many years as a cook at Merrimack County Nursing Home before retiring in the early 2000’s, the very nursing home where she later received care. Her family, fellow residents, and staff will miss her positivity.
Sue adored her many Yorkies, lovingly referring to them as her children.
She was predeceased by her husband Rick Hodgdon; her parents; brothers John Gallagher III and Frank Morse; and brother-in-law Steve Sawicki.
She loved and survived by her sister Kathy Sawicki of Lompoc, CA; brother Tim Gallagher of Boscawen, NH; and several nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 21, 2025, at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH.
