Susan was born November 9, 1952 in Atlanta, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mary Frances Wooten Gibson and the late Robert Allen Bowman. She was a homemaker and loved to sing and dance. Susan also enjoyed photography and spending time with her family. She was Christian by faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Bobby C. Gibson, Sr., son-in-law, Mitch Bressler, siblings, James Michael Bowman, Edward Allen Bowman, and step-brother, Bobby C. Gibson, Jr.
Susan is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Ann and Randy Kittle of Carrollton, Theresa Bressler of Villa Rica, Terri and John Christopher of Douglasville, step-sister, Pat Bostwick of Villa Rica, granddaughter, Kara Ann Christopher and her fiancé, Daylan Brewer of Carrollton, great granddaughter, Stella Jade Brewer and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 22, 2025 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at J. Collins Funeral Home in Villa Rica.
A private graveside service and interment will take place at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens.
