Susan M. Kaemming, 67, of Gibsonburg passed away Friday, October 3, 2025. She was born on January 27, 1958 in Fremont to the late Thomas and Rita (Dolweck) Haley.

Sue was a 1976 Gibsonburg High School graduate, and a proud Gibsonburg Athletic Boosters supporter.

She married Richard Kaemming on June 22, 1979 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Gibsonburg where she was a lifelong parishioner being part of its Altar Rosary Society, Ministerial Association, and helped in any capacity available including setting up for services and decorating.

Through the years Sue took on cleaning jobs and for many years, she was the Janitor at St. Michael. Most recently she was the friendly face you saw when getting food at Root's Poultry.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Richard; children, Nicholas (Lindy) Kaemming of Fort Worth, TX and their children: Claire, Luke, Ben and Josie; Corey (Jenna) Kaemming of Perrysburg and their children: Makenna and Owen; and Aisha Kaemming of Monclova; siblings, Michael (Diane) Haley, Kathleen (Kent) Kirsch, and Eileen (William) Whetsel; brother-in-law, David Miller; and many close family members on the Dolweck and Haley sides.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Tom & Rita Haley; sister, Sharon Miller; and infant grandson, Emmanuel.

Visitation will be held at the Herman-Veh Funeral Home & Crematory on Tuesday, October 7th from 2-4 & 6-8 PM with a Rosary service to begin at 7:30 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Michael Catholic Church, Gibsonburg on Wednesday at 10 AM.

Memorial donations in honor of Sue can be made to St. Michael Catholic Church.

When I'm Gone
When I come to the end of my journey; And I travel my last weary mile; Just forget, if you can, that I ever frowned; And remember only the smile. Forget unkind words I have spoken; Remember some good I have done. Forget that I ever had heartache; And remember I've had loads of fun. Forget that I've stumbled and blundered; And somtimes fell by the way. Remember I have fought some hard battles; And won, ere the close of the day. Then forget to grieve for my going, I would not have you sad for a day, But in summer just gather some flowers; And remember the place where I lay, And come in the shade of evening; When the sun paints the sky in the west. Stand for a few mo-ments beside me; And remember only my best.
