Susan Lepre

Grifton, NC - Susan Lepre, 59, passed away on March 11, 2026.

Services to be held by the family privately at a later date.

Susan Lepre was born in Morristown, NJ to Joseph Josephson and Judith Josephson. She enjoyed an upbringing with her two brothers, Michael and Jeffrey Josephson. Susan spent her teen years working with her brothers at their father Joe's laundromat. Susan would graduate from Morristown High School and work in various administrative jobs around New Jersey, eventually earning as associate degree from Dover Business College.

Susan would later meet and marry Stephen Lepre where they would have a son, Richard Lepre. After raising Richard in Morristown for a decade Susan would spend the next twenty years living in Orlando and it's suburbs. In her waning years, Susan and Stephen would move to Grifton, NC to be closer to their son Richard and enjoy an early retirement with their cat, Nacho.

Susan can be remembered best as a sister to her brothers, a mother to Richard and a wife to Stephen, she deeply cared for the people in her life and loved her family a lot.

Susan enjoyed the music of Barry Manilow, watching television with her husband, shows such as Cold Case and CSI and her favorite, Grey's Anatomy.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Judith Lipkin and father, Joseph Josephson.

She is survived by her husband, Stephen Lepre; son, Richard Lepre; brothers, Michael Josephson and Jeffrey Josephson; and aunt, Lynn Wasserman.
