Jason Glisson Obituary
Jason was born August 20, 1980, in Pitt County to the late Johnny Russell Glisson Sr. and Sue Coggins Glisson. Jason never met a stranger and loved talking to anyone who would listen. He had a big heart, was always willing to help someone in need, and was known for his kindness and easygoing nature. He truly enjoyed spending time with friends and family and cherished those moments. One of his greatest joys was his dog, Mia, who meant the world to him.
Jason attended North Pitt High School and later graduated from Pitt Community College with a degree in Automotive Technology. Although he started his career working on vehicles, he later earned his CDL and spent many years driving over the road before eventually driving locally.
Jason is survived by his brother, Johnny Russell Glisson, Jr. and wife, Mauri Glisson; sister, Melissa Kirby; nieces, Kayla Keel and Elizabeth Tripp; nephews, Joseph Tripp and Tyson Kirby; and his great-niece, Julia Sue Taylor, daughter of Kayla Keel.
Jason will be remembered for his kind heart, his conversations with just about anyone he met, and the way he was always willing to lend a hand.
