Susan passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at the Toni and Trish House with her family by her side at the age of 69. She was born in Gaylord, Michigan on September 20, 1954 to the late Jack and Charlotte (Newman) Bergey. She enjoyed collecting coral and seashells, growing orchids, playing bingo and going to the casino.
Susan is survived by her son, Steven (Melissa) Bergey; Very special grand and great grandchildren, Rachele Bergey (Chris) Schalow their children, Gray and Beau Schalow; Steven (Kelsey) Bergey; their children Nash and Jude Bergey; brother, John (Chris) Bergey and Charles (Ann) Bergey; sisters, Gale (Arthur) Lockwood; very special aunts and uncles, Patty, Willard and Marsha, and many loved nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Susan is preceded in death by her very cherished significant other, Timothy Wognar who passed away July 17, 2020; and her sister, Brenda Bergey.
At the request of Susan, Cremation has taken place and a private memorial service will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be considered to Toni and Trish House for the care of the terminally Ill.
