Susan Charlotte Locsei ObituarySusan C. Locsei, age 71, of Willoughby, Ohio, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2025, at St. John's Medical Center in Westlake. Born in Cleveland on June 12, 1954, Susan spent the majority of her life in Lake County, where she built a life full of love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to her family.
Susan was the beloved wife of Kenneth L. Locsei Sr., with whom she shared 48 wonderful years of marriage. Together they raised three cherished children: Dawn M. (Jeff) Huber, Melissa S. (Charles) McArthur, and Kenneth L. Locsei Jr. Susan's legacy continues through her adored grandchildren: Ashleigh (Stefan) Misch, Allyson, Brendan, Tyler, Lucas, Ella, and Greyson; and her treasured great-granddaughters, Savannah and Anna. She was a deeply loving and proud matriarch whose heart beat strongest for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren-they were truly her greatest joy.
She was the dear sister of Judith Alexander, Linda (David) Wilding, and Kenneth Alexander; and sister-in-law of Sandy (John) Balanik. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who will miss her warmth, humor, and generosity.
She was preceded in death by her parents George and Nancy Alexander (nee Kotnic), her brothers Jim Alexander and Jeff Alexander, and her sister Jeannie Alexander.
Family was everything to Susan. Whether it was preparing home-cooked meals, gathering loved ones around the table, or simply spending time together, she made every moment special. Her kitchen was a place of comfort, her hugs were a source of strength, and her laughter lit up every room.
When not surrounded by family, Susan found joy in visiting the casino and trying her luck at the slot machines-a pastime that brought her fun and relaxation.
Friends and family are invited to gather in celebration of Susan's life on Sunday, July 6, 2025, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Avenue, Willoughby, OH. A funeral service will be held at 3:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Susan's memory to the Lake County Humane Society, a cause close to her heart.
Susan will be remembered for her deep love, her unshakable devotion to family, and her generous spirit. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
To to the family or in memory of Susan, please .

We have fond memories of Sue at the Chagrin River Yacht Club when her family were all avid boaters and club members. There were always lots of kids living the good life and having a blast. I also remember the annual Christmas party hosted by Sue and Kenny with lots of great food and family. RIP Sue. Hope you get that big BINGO in the heavens!
