Susan Patricia Mager, age 65, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2025, at Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, after a brief illness.
Born on December 5, 1959, in Livonia, Michigan, Susan was the beloved daughter of Stephen and Margaret Mager. Throughout her life, she was known for her unwavering generosity and compassion, always being the first to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. A devoted mother and doting aunt, Susan cherished her family above all else and continuously sought to provide them with love and support.
Susan's legacy of caring extends to the family she leaves behind. In addition to her loving parents, she was preceded in death by her two sisters, Lynn Scott and Kathy Olander, both of whom she adored, as well as her two cherished nieces, Mackenzie Olander and Callie Scott, who were taken from us far too soon.
Susan is survived by her son, Stephen Hurst, and her daughter, Chloe Hurst, both of Green Bay, Wisconsin. Her family also includes her granddaughter, Paris Olson, of Green Bay, Wisconsin; nephews, Maxx Olander (Cortney) of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and Jason Scott of Palm Beach, Florida; niece, Amanda (Brett) Smith, of Manteo, North Carolina; great-nieces and nephews, Noah Smith of Manteo, North Carolina; Skylar and Chase Kuehn of Oshkosh, Wisconsin; Damian Olander of Lily, Wisconsin; Hailey Smith of Palm Springs, California; Laila Vera of Manteo, North Carolina; and close family friend, Tiana Richardson, of Green Bay, Wisconsin. Many others whose lives she touched will profoundly miss her warmth and spirit.
The funeral has been canceled for now and the family will be having something private.
