Susan Gale Marsh

Susan Gale Marsh, 81, passed away on November 29, 2025, at home with her family by her side. Susan was born on March 17, 1944, in Corning, NY, to parents Stanley and Helen (Smithyman) Smith. She was a 1962 graduate of Northside High School.
She was a sweet and kind woman who cared deeply and lovingly for her family. Her world revolved around them. She was a Godly woman and a devoted member of the Presho Church of Jesus Christ. Susan was an avid reader, enjoyed solving a good crossword puzzle, and loved to crochet. She found joy in listening to beautiful music. While her memory was fading in her final years, she was still able to sing "Jesus Loves Me," a testament to her enduring faith.
Susan is survived by her husband of 61 years, Fred Marsh; four children: Laura (Ed) Tietje of Duncannon, PA, Lisa (Jim) Jones of Painted Post, Lynette (Thomas) Crane of Corning, and Larry (Tammy) Marsh of Caton; 10 grandchildren: Brittney, Courtney, Nicklaus, Derek, Sara, Emily, Samantha, Mallory, Aidan, and Ian; 8 great-grandchildren; her brother Doug (Pam) Smith of Lindley; and her special caregiver, Tina Meade.
Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Sandra (Frank) Hall and Anne Smith, and her brother-in-laws; Tom Marsh, Eddie Hall, and Ken Peoples.
A graveside service will be held at Addison Rural Cemetery on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Chris Blackwell officiating. Flint Funeral Home in Addison has been entrusted with her final arrangements.
