A beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother.
Susan Lynn Zaragoza was born on January 24, 1958 to Thomas and Monica Zaragoza. She was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah where she graduated from West High School, Class of 1976. Shortly after high school Susan was employed as a CNA for Applegate Home Care and Hospice. She devoted herself for 36 year nursing the sick and elderly people.
Susan enjoyed taking care of her 94 year old mother, Monica Zaragoza. She also liked crocheting, baking, taking care of her plants, and cuddling with her fur baby, Mango.
A grandmother involved in the life of her grandkids. Susan never missed a game of performance.
Susan married Lisitoa Naeata in Sept 1985. Together they have five children, two from Lisitoa's previous marriage and three of their own. Later they were sealed for all time and eternity with their three children at the West Jordan Temple in Oct 1993.
Susan is preceded in death by her father, Thomas Zaragoza, and brothers: Martin Zaragoza, James Zaragoza, and Anthony Zaragoza.
Survived by siblings: Dennis Zaragoza (Yvonne), David Zaragoza, Ronald Zaragoza (Laura) Sherri Hernandez (Marcos), and sister in-law, Melody Zaragoza of late (James Zaragoza).
Children: Losaline Naeata-Vindiola (Carlos Vindiola), Koloti Naeata, Lisitoa Eric Naeata (Renee Martinez-Naeata), Emy Naeata-Garcia (Edwin Garcia), and David Naeata (Ashley Negrete).
Grandchildren: Charlie Vindiola, Charlee Sabrowski, Lupi Vindiola, Alvaro Naeata, Adrina Garcia, Alex Naeata, Edwin Garcia Jr, Angelia Naeata, Adam SU Garcia, Tevita Naeata, Scarlett, and Elijah. She was adored by many countless nieces and nephews.
Susan departed from this world on Dec 30, 2022. She will be greatly missed.
Memorial service will be held on January 7, 2023 at 3836 West 4100 South, West Valley City, UT. Family service 8:00-9:00 a.m.; viewing 9:00-11:30 a.m.; church service 12:00-1:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest at Redwood Rd Memorial 6500 South Redwood Road at 2:00 p.m.
