Susan Peabody, 74, of Brevard NC passed on June 26, 2025.
Susan moved here with her family from Montanta to start anew. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Alberta Pluhar of Tennessee. She took pride in her work as a social worker for Transylvania and Henderson County. She enjoyed anything that would allow her artistic abilities to flow. She loved the thrill of riding motorcycles as well as her quiet time spent gardening in her yard.
Susan is survived by the love of her life of 42 years Lane Peabody, her children Jacob and Suzanna Smart of Sparta NC, Joseph and Gina Smart of Balsam Grove NC, her grandchildren Alex, Dakota and Siarrah all of Brevard NC as well as her 8 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at her home 3421 Old Toxaway Rd. Brevard NC 28712 on Saturday July 5th @ 1 pm.
