Susan Rae Simmons Reagan, age 59, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2025, after a yearlong battle with cancer. Born September 1, 1965, in Elkins WV, Susan lived a life full of passion, purpose, and unwavering friendship.

Susan is survived by her partner of 12 years, Andrew Santulli; father and mother, William Ray (Jeff) and Faye Lynn Simmons; one sister Jacqueline Faye Simmons; one brother Jeffrey David Simmons; and two nieces Anna Grace and Olivia Thuy Simmons. Also surviving is Susan's ex-husband and longtime friend, Danny Reagan. Her love for her family and friends was characterized by deep affection. But her love for Andrew was all-encompassing, exuding affection, respect, commitment, and shared experiences. He was the source of her strength and happiness.

Susan had an adventurous spirit and loved to travel. She was always eager to explore new places and try the local food. Her love for animals, especially cats, was evident to all that knew her, and she found great joy in her cat, Obie. Susan graduated from Elkins High School in 1983 and received her bachelor's degree from Davis and Elkins College. She later received her master's degree and became co-founder of Cambium Company. She believed in hard work and her achievements both big and small are a reflection of her dedication and belief.

Susan will be forever in our hearts and her presence will be deeply missed. But we rejoice that she is now with God and grateful that she is at peace and free of pain.
