Susan Elaine Cromling Robnett of Midwest City, Oklahoma, passed away on April 23, 2025, at the age of 74. She was born on October 24, 1950, in Clarksburg, West Virginia, to John Henry Cromling and Lura Nell (Stout) Cromling.
Susan was a lifelong resident of Midwest City, where she and her husband, Raymond Vester Robnett, built a life and raised their family. She is survived by her children, Anneke Marie Robnett Rivers and her husband, Ron Rivers, and Dustin Jake Robnett and his wife, Megan Robnett. She was a proud grandmother to Arianna Hill and Arabella Robnett.
A lifelong nurse, Susan dedicated her career to the care and comfort of others, embodying the true spirit of compassion and service. Her caring nature wasn't limited to her profession-Susan was an incredible caregiver in every aspect of her life. Her strength, independence, and unwavering love left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. This was especially exemplified by Susan caring for her mother in their home for several years followed by caring for Vester for several months before his passing. Susan was also known for her love of entertaining her grandchildren, working in her yard, her skill as a seamstress, her talent in the kitchen, and her ability to find a bargain.
Susan was an active member of St. Christopher's Episcopal Church in Midwest City, where she practiced her faith with friendship and purpose.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Vester. She is survived by her brother, John Cromling and his wife, June; her niece, Julie Mesa; and nephews Johnny Cromling and Josh Cromling, numerous relatives from the Robnett family, along with many other close family and friends. A special thanks to Richard Robnett, her brother-in-law, that was a special caregiver to his brother and invaluable to Susan. Also, a very special thanks to her dear friend, Trish Davenport, who supported Susan in so many caring ways.
A memorial service celebrating Susan's life will be held in the next few weeks. Service details will be shared with family and close friends.

So hard to believe. Even harder to accept. She brought a big smile and left sparkle behind on her journey. Her existence on this earth will be missed.
