Susan Wynell Scott passed away on Monday, April 14, 2025, in Dallas, Texas surrounded by family and friends. Susan was born in Sulphur Springs, Texas on January 4, 1961, to James and Sandra Scott. They later moved to Dallas, Texas where she completed her education. She worked as a daycare provider, cake decorator and store manager before she was blessed to be able to stay home and care for her grandchildren.
Susan was a very loving and kind person. She never met a stranger and was always willing to help anyone in need. She was a friend and mother to all who crossed her path. She devoted her life to her kids and was promoted to grandma. Her grandchildren were her whole world. “Mama Sue was her name and spoiling them was her game.” There was never a time when she was not talking about her grandchildren.
Susan was preceded in death by her father, James Scott, and her brother, Wallace Scott.
She leaves behind her 3 children, Cedric Scott, Anthony Scott and Kalilah Scott. Her mother Sandra Scott; her sisters, Charlotte and Charlynn Scott; and her niece Reagan Mitchell. Also mourning her passing are her 6 children, Arianna Scott, Anthony Scott Jr, Jada Scott, Cedric Scott Jr, Kayden Scott and Adonis Scott and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
