Susan Ann Studer passed away peacefully on March 30, 2024, at the age of 75, in Medina County, Ohio.
Born on July 23, 1948, Susan was the daughter of Arthur Benedict Studer and Geraldine "Jeri" Louise (White) Studer. She was a graduate of the class of 1966 from John Marshall High School in Cleveland, Ohio. After attending college, she worked at the West Park Branch of the Cleveland Public Library where she shared her love of reading.
Susan was a devout Catholic. She was a parishioner of Our Lady Help of Christians Parish in Litchfield, Ohio, as well as a long-time member of the Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Shelby, Ohio. Susan loved reading religious works and science fiction novels.
She is survived by her brothers, Peter Studer of Lodi, Ohio, and Jonathan Studer of Spring Hill, Florida.
Susan is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Geraldine Studer.
Friends may visit at the Barkdull Funeral Home and Crematory in Shelby, Wednesday, April 3, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 PM.
A Catholic Mass will be held the following day, Thursday, April 4, 2024, at 10:30 AM at the Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Shelby, with Father Chris Mileski officiating. Interment will be held immediately following at Holy Cross Cemetery in Brook Park, Ohio, with Father Ed Suszynski of Our Lady Help at Christians Parish performing committal services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
