Susan "Sue" A. Arnett, age 61 of Troy, Ohio passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on July 17, 2024. She was born June 25, 1963 in West Virginia, daughter of the late Lawrence Lester and Mary Ruff.
Sue was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She loved fishing, gambling, and going on vacations. Sue's family was her pride and joy and she enjoyed spending every minute she could making memories with them. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her half brother, Gary Cahill; and sister-in-law, Betty Lester.
Sue is survived by her husband of 31 years, William "Bill" Arnett; children, Sherry Coy, Bobby (Lisa) Hawkins, and Chris Arnett; 22 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; brother, Jack Lester; sisters, Jane Lester and Viola Lester; several nieces and nephews; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, July 21, 2024 from 1:00pm to 2:30pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, Ohio 45424. A funeral service will begin at 2:30pm at the funeral home.
