It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Susan Swenson, of Cottage Grove, Minnesota, who left this world on September 24, 2025,

She was born on May 23, 1956, to Benjamin and Kaye West.

Susan was a beloved wife to Jack Swenson, whom she married in 1977. Together, they raised five wonderful children: Michael (Becky), Benjamin (Jesse), Joshua (Bridget), Jacob (Faith), and David (Sarah). She is also survived by her sister, Judy (Pat); and brother, Steve (Judy). Finally, she was an adoring grandmother to ten grandchildren. 

Susan graduated Amery High School in 1974. She later went on to work as a longtime food service provider at St. John's Catholic School and volunteered with King of Kings Lutheran Church. Susan had many hobbies that brought her joy. She was an avid reader, a talented crafter, and loved solving puzzles in her spare time. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Susan will be remembered for her kind heart and unwavering love for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A funeral service for Susan will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 7 at King of Kings Lutheran Church, 2330 N. Dale St., Roseville, MN. Visitation will be at the church from 10-11 AM Tuesday.
