Gerald W. "Jerry" Barte, age 71, of Roseville, Minnesota, passed away September 24, 2025, from complications of Multiple Myeloma.
Preceded in death by wife, Vicki Johnson; parents, Bill and Joan Barte; and nephew, Daniel Sedgeman.
Survived by sisters, Diane Weinhold, Joyce Sedgeman (Tom), and Karen Norman (Chip); brother, Paul Barte; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Jerry was an avid golfer and lover of all music, especially opera, classical, folk and early rock. Jerry was a graduate of the University of Minnesota. He loved singing, fishing, baseball and card games, and was a good friend to all.
A memorial service for Jerry will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, November 14, 2025 at Como Park Lutheran Church, 1376 W. Hoyt Ave., St. Paul. Visitation will be at the church prior to the service from 10-11 AM Friday.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Como Park Lutheran Church or the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation.
