Susan Tyson Obituary
She was born in Mt. Clemens, February 17, 1945, the daughter of the late Frank and Leocadia (Lewinski) Gutt.
Susan was a parishioner of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Richmond, and was involved with Daughters of Isabella, Altar Sodality and helped with funeral luncheons and the Fall Festival.
Susan was a 1963 Richmond High School graduate. She worked at Tyson's Trucking for many years, K-Mart, Olszewski Funeral Home for 10 years, Brengman's Innland and sold Avon. Susan volunteered for March of Dimes and Red Cross with their local blood drives. She enjoyed raising her pygmy goats, playing euchre, gardening, crocheting, and loved baking. Susan loved her children and grandchildren.
Surviving are two daughters, Leocadia (Richard) Ottenbacher of Casco and Cathy (Terry Markel) Tyson of Richmond, and a son, Joe Tyson of Lenox Township; a Babcia to two grandsons, Matthew and Kyle; a great-grandson, Kingston; a brother, Joe Gutt, as well as several nieces, nephews and many, many friends.
The family honors the memory of Susan and invites you to visit and share memories Monday, January 15, 2024, 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Richmond, with rosary devotion at 7:00 p.m. Rite of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Richmond, with 10:00 a.m. visiting. Fr. Beezam Kishore, pastor will officiate. Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery, Richmond.
Memorials are suggested to Wishes of the Family.
