Susan Marie Hart Walinski passed away Sunday, December 14, 2025 at Ebeid Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Born Susan Marie Hart on December 14, 1945, she died peacefully after a short stay surrounded by her family on her 80th birthday.

A member of St John the Baptist Church Sue was involved in Catholic Charities prison ministry program for a number of years ministering to men and women seeking to return to Christ. She graduated from Whitmer High school before starting her work career at Toledo Health and Retiree Center. She was a Pharmacy Tech for Pharmacy Counter and later worked at Young Medical Supply before retiring from Apria Healthcare. An avid Ohio State Buckeye and Cleveland Browns fan Sue was an amateur radio operator (N8XDF), had an extensive salt and pepper collection and enjoyed gardening, sewing and knitting. Camping with Dave on weekends was always something she looked forward to.

Preceded in death by parents, Charles and Mary Hart; and her brother, Bruce she leaves behind her loving husband of 47 years David; sister, Debra (Michael) Jordan; brother, Brian (Beverly) Hart; sister-in-law, Ruby Hart; brother-in-law, Charles Walinski; many nieces and nephews; and her devoted canine companions Max and Gracie. Special thanks to her niece Annya for her loving care especially during the final days.

Sue's funeral will be at St John the Baptist Church, 5153 N. Summit St. Toledo, OH on Thursday January 15 at 10:00 a.m. preceded by a 30 minute viewing in the church narthex where family and friends may pay their respects.
