Susan E. Wunderlin

Susan E. Wunderlin, age 81 of Laurel Gardens, passed peacefully on March 7, 2025. Wife of 41 years of John Wunderlin. Mother of Sherri (Louis) Kostante, Daniel (Renea) Wunderlin, and Kenneth (Jamie) Wunderlin. Grandmother of Ashley Palmer, David Palmer, Dylan Wunderlin, Amber Wunderlin, and Emma Wunderlin. Great Grandmother of Logan Palmer, Layla Kuff, Aleighna Palmer, and Daniel Wunderlin. Sister of Kenneth Merz. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Family will welcome friends on April 5, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., to Faith Lutheran Church,161 Sixth Ave, Pittsburgh, PA, 15229, for a memorial service and luncheon.
Sue loved the outdoors, nature, and animals. A long-time Laurel Gardens resident, summer nights were spent on her porch, greeting all who passed by. She spent 28 years as a lunch lady at North Hills High School. Following her retirement, she fed the wildlife and local strays. She enjoyed walking, hiking, swimming, camping, and browsing garage sales.
In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations to Humane Animal Rescue, 1101 Western Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA, 15233. It was there that she found Andy, her best friend for the last ten years.
