Susie Lattuca Cavaleri, 98, passed away on June 7, 2022 in Mesa, AZ. She was predeceased by her husband of almost 50 years, Frank. She lived in Bedford Hills with him until shortly after his passing.
Susie was born in the Bronx to Giuseppa and Vincenzo Lattuca on September 10, 1923. She was a legal secretary, working for the Port Authority of NY for many years. She spent several years working for Halsted-Quinn in Mt. Kisco and retired from American Ultramar in Tarrytown.
Those who knew her will remember her for her love of family and friends, Tuesday night visits with Elsie, travel, jigsaw puzzles and bridge. When asked how she was doing, she'd tell you "I'm happy!"
Susie is survived by her daughter Susan (John) Manning of Mesa, AZ, and sons Frank of Gales Ferry, CT and Paul (Tammy Oates) of Mooresville, NC. She was also blessed with 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Clark Associates Funeral Home, Katonah, NY on Sunday, June 12th from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, June 13th at 11am at St. Mary's Church, 55 Valley Road, Katonah, with interment immediately following at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Mt. Kisco.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Victory Junction, 4500 Adam's Way, Randleman, NC 27317.
