Susie Moll Obituary

Published by Legacy on Oct. 1, 2025.
Susie Marie Moll, age 61, died in Dallas, Texas, on June 8, 2025.
Born on March 14, 1964, in Waukegan, Illinois. She grew up in Covington, Louisiana and graduated from St. Scholastica Academy. She attended the Art Institute of Houston and graduated with an Advertising Design Degree. She later moved to Rogers, Arkansas, where she worked as a Marketing Director for Wal-Mart. Susie then worked for Blockbuster and moved to Dallas, TX, where she planned and orchestrated numerous events, to include: The Blockbuster Entertainment Awards; quarterly and annual meetings; and Trips of a Lifetime, which took her all over the world. She then opened her own business, Strike Up Your Brand, in Dallas, TX, which mainly involved corporate event planning.
Even though Susie spent most of her life outside of Louisiana, she was definitely a diehard New Orleans Saints fan and was always the "Hostess With The Mostest"!! The loves of her life were her fur babies, Sunny and Cher.
Susie was preceded in death by her father, James (Jim) Moll. Survivors include her mother, Judith (Judy) Moll of Covington, LA; Siblings Karen (Kari) Moll of Covington, LA; Jamie (Rhonda) Moll of Mandeville, LA; Julie (Glynn) Huhn of Covington, LA; and Scotty (Carol) Moll of Covington, LA. Nieces and Nephews: Holly, Cassie, and Holden Huhn; Ella and Lilly Moll; Skyler, Madisyn, and Brinley Fornea; and Zack, Olivia, and Bella Kerth.
A Memorial Service will be held at St. Jane de Chantal Church, 72040 Maple Street, Abita Springs, LA 70420. On Monday, June 30, 2025, from 10:00am – 11:00am, followed by a funeral Mass.
Interment at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home will be held at a later date.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Dallas, TX in July.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jane de Chantal Church.
