Susie Walker Obituary
Born in Madisonville, TN, she was a daughter of the late Marcus Tallent and Mary Elizabeth Saffles Tallent.
Mrs. Walker was a member of Wedgefield Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, James "Jimmy" Walker of Wedgefield, Steven Walker (Jane) of Sumter; a brother, Tom Tallent of Augusta, GA; a sister, Lucy Bailey of Anderson, SC; six grandchildren, Stephanie Craven, Steven Walker, Jr., Shane Ray Walker all of Sumter; Wesley Walker of Lexington, Lucas Walker of Saluda, Sara Grace Walker of Cayce; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at Wedgefield Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Goff officiating.
Burial will be in the Wedgefield Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Wesley Walker, Lucas Walker, Steven Walker, Jr., Shane Ray Walker, Walker Craven, Al Ditty and Dylan Ryan.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. Tuesday at the Wedgefield Baptist Church.
The family would like to thank Amedisys Hospice for their dedicated, compassionate, and loving care.
Memorials may be made to Wedgefield University for Kids, 6220 Wedgefield Highway, Wedgefield, SC 29168.
