Susy Del Pilar Touma Rodriguez, 60, peacefully entered eternal rest on September 7, 2025 surrounded by loved ones. She is survived by her children, Nicky Touma, Andrea Isaza and Nahim Isaza, and her sisters, Mireya Touma, Marthi Touma, Miriam Touma and Betty Barbosa. Susy was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador, the middle child of five. Susy studied childcare in Ecuador and in 1988 made the difficult decision of leaving her family and migrating to New York in pursuit of the American Dream. She worked hard throughout her life, establishing herself first as a successful Nanny in Westchester County, NY and then later as a respected Private Teacher in Greenwich, CT. Anyone who knew Susy was captivated by her sense of humor, positive energy, and her radiant smile. Susy loved to dance and took every opportunity to enjoy a night out on the town with friends and family. During the holidays, she was known for making delicious meals and welcoming all to sit and eat at her table. Susy was a bright light and always wanted what was best for her family. She shared an unbreakable bond with her beloved dog, Coco, whose quiet companionship and loyal presence brought her comfort, joy, and unconditional love through many chapters of her life. Susy's unwavering love, joyful spirit, and boundless generosity will live on in all who were blessed to know her, a guiding light that continues to shine in their hearts. Visitation hours will take place on Monday, September 15th from 9am to 12pm at Bosak Funeral Home & Cremation, 453 Shippan Avenue, Stamford, CT, a Prayer Service will be held at the funeral home at 12pm. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery, 66 Woodland Place, Stamford, CT.
