MELODY SUZANNE ADDISON, AGE 55
And a resident of Folsom passed away peacefully early Friday morning January 5, 2024 at her home after a courageous eight year battle with cancer. She was born in New Orleans on October 18, 1968. Suzanne married her husband on January 31, 1992 and together they were the owner/operators of Joey Addison Trucking. She always enjoyed traveling to different venues around the area helping with the performances of his band "Step by Step". Suzanne liked to go out to eat seafood and steak with her family. She always put the needs of others before herself and took great care of her family even in the times dealing with her own tough challenges. Suzanne was always a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Husband: Joseph Allen "Joey" Addison, Sr.
Children: Rebecca Jay Addison,
John Houston Addison
Step-Children and a Son in law: Joseph Allen Addison, Jr.,
Jody Lynn Addison and Roger Ponce
Grandchildren: Wyatt, Natalie, Jasmine
Mother in law: Maxine Loyd
Aunts and Uncles: Frances and Gill Temple,
Pauline and Bill Ingram
Also numerous cousins and many dear friends
She was preceded in death by her parents Roy Rodriguez and Edith Bahm Rodriguez, father in law Tom Addison, father in law Jim Loyd and brother in law Tommy Addison.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home (1109 Bene Street, Franklinton) on Saturday January 13th from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 pm Saturday with Rev. Lloyd Bahm officiating. Burial will follow in the Fendlason Cemetery near her home in Folsom.
