Ronald Duncan Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Crain Funeral Home, Inc. - Franklinton on Feb. 20, 2026.
RONALD DUNCAN, AGE 69

A lifelong resident of Mount Hermon passed away Tuesday evening February 17, 2026 at the Sabine Medical Center in Many, Louisiana while visiting at his sister's home. He was born in Franklinton on February 7, 1957 and graduated from Mount Hermon High School. Ronald was a crew boat captain in the off-shore industry for 25 years before retiring. He then owned and operated his own business, Duncan's Cleaning and Flooring, working at many homes and businesses in Washington Parish, the Northshore and around south Louisiana. He loved fishing, gardening and landscaping for beautiful flowers. Ronald enjoyed riding his Trike motorcycle and raising his chickens. He always enjoyed spending time with kids and playing alongside them. Ronald never met a stranger but most of all he liked to help others, always putting their needs above his own. He loved spending time with his family and he had a special place in his heart for his pet dog "Buddy".
