Suzanne Thomas Allen, 57, of Four Oaks, NC, formerly of Bainbridge, passed away Thursday, September 18, 2025.

The memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 14, 2025, at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Meri Suzanne Thomas was born April 22, 1968, in Bainbridge, GA, the daughter of Delroy & Betty Green Thomas. She was a graduate of Bainbridge High School, Class of 1986, and attended the University of Georgia. Suzanne worked for the North Caroline Department of Juvenile Corrections as an admissions administrator. She was a Christian by faith.

Described as patient & kind, quiet & reserved, Suzanne was also the character noted as participating in many childhood shenanigans. She was an avid reader and penned her own short stories which may have depicted actual events. Suzanne's handwriting was like a work of art in and of itself.

Sewing was a favorite pastime Suzanne recently rediscovered. Her attention to detail and desire to accept nothing less than perfect resulted in amazing projects. Suzanne will be fondly remembered for her love of roasted peanuts, her impeccable makeup technique, and the most beautiful smile that spoke volumes yet with no words.

Survivors include her husband of 8 years, Jeffrey Allen; her children, Alex Bauer Schott (Jared), Rachel Bauer, and Jena Allen; her father, Delroy Thomas; her sister, Gail Thomas Nelson (Brian); and a host of extended family. Suzanne was preceded in death by her mother.
