Suzanne Marie Dudeck (nee Kruszewski), 87, of Mesa, Arizona, formerly Hudson Lake and New Carlisle, IN, passed away at 2:38 P.M. MST, Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at Mercy Gilbert Hospital, Gilbert, Arizona. Suzanne was born February 6, 1938, in South Bend, IN, to Alphons and Harriet (Fabiszak) Kruszewski, and was a lifelong Indiana resident until moving to Arizona in 2014. Suzanne was a 1956 graduate of New Carlisle High School. She retired in 2000 from Howmet Aerospace Corporation, where she was employed for 30 years as a Radiographic Technician.

On December 28, 1957, in Holy Family Catholic Church, South Bend, IN, Suzanne married James David Dudeck, who preceded her in death. They were married for 52 years. She is survived by her five sons: James (Lori) Dudeck, Jr., of Gilbert, AZ, Michael (Jewel) Dudeck, of Michigan City, IN, William (Analynn) Dudeck of Cassopolis, MI, Andrew (Jeffery Behling) Dudeck of Valparaiso, IN, and Jon (Victoria) Dudeck of Merrifield, MN; nine grandchildren: Amanda (Brian) Helminski, Adam (Jennifer) Dudeck, Nicole (Brandon Galindo) Dudeck, Katlyn (Raymond) Miller, Victoria (Tyler) Ramsey, Phillip Dudeck, Tucker Sawyer, Lucas Sawyer, and Hunter Dudeck; and 14 great-grandchildren: Reed Helminski, Cooper Helminski, Brooklyn Dudeck, Naryah Poole, Naxton Poole, Keith Harvey, Mylo Harvey, Tyler Miller, Trevor Miller, Trinity Miller, Tanner Miller, Jayce Hochstetler, Jemma Brown, and Atticus Ramsey. Suzanne was an only child.

Suzanne enjoyed participating in bowling and golf leagues while still working. She could be found knitting or crocheting in the evenings and after retirement. She loved having her grandchildren and great-grandchildren visit as long as she could send them home at the end of the day. After the passing of her husband, James, Suzanne found the pleasure of travel. She cruised the Mediterranean Sea, sailed to Alaska and Hawaii, and travelled through the Panama Canal.

There will be no services; cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society in Suzanne's memory. To send online condolences, please visit kaniewski.com.

Terry and I have known Jim and Sue since they moved to the Hudson lake area and we will miss seeing them. So sorry about the recent passing of Sue and hadn't been aware she was ill. We are still in the Hudson area and we would welcome her boys to visit anytime.
