Suzanne Glagola

Suzanne (Gibson) Glagola of Novi, Michigan, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2025.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Michael. She is survived by her eight children, Mike (Yvonne), Pat, Steve, Matt, Jim (Sandy), Nick, Nancy, and Betsy; and six grandchildren, Stephen, Adam, Mark, Ciara, James, and Grace. She is preceded in death by her siblings Jim and Patsy.

Susie was born on November 3, 1930, in West Palm Beach, Florida. In college, she was a trapeze performer for the Florida State University Flying High Circus. She graduated from Florida State University in the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority with an Art History Major and Accounting Minor, and ceaselessly pursued knowledge long after, with an adoration for Spanish.

She loved reading and being active in the Fox Run community in her water aerobics and Spanish clubs. Known for turning her phone off during airings, Susie avidly watched Jeopardy every weekday, and as a true fan of golf and all Detroit sports, she never missed a Detroit Tigers, Lions, or Red Wings game. She loved discussing players and statistics with family and fellow sports fans. Susie will be remembered as an energetic, compassionate mother with an eternal optimism and a warm smile akin to her Floridian heart. She will be missed by many.

The Visitation will be held on Friday, August 29, at 10:00 a.m. at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 340 N. Pontiac Trail, Walled Lake, Michigan, 48390. The Service "Celebration of Remembrance" will follow immediately at 11:00 a.m. at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home. After the Celebration of Remembrance, guests are invited to meet at Casey's of Walled Lake at 1003 E. West Maple Road, Walled Lake, Michigan, 48390 for continued memories. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or the Alzheimer's Association.
