Obituary of Suzanne Kallenbach
June 11, 1962 - February 18, 2025
Suzanne Kallenbach. Age 62 of Southgate.
Beloved wife of Joe Kallenbach. Loving mother of Joe Kallenbach Jr. (Amanda), Heather and Megan. Loved daughter of Marie and the late Don Henegar. Dearest grandmother of Joseph III, Madelyn, Aubree and Emma. Dear sister of David and Daniel (Lisa).
Suzanne Kallenbach, a creative spirit and loving mother, grandmother and wife, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on February 18, 2025. Sue's life was a testament to her passion for art, family and joy, and she leaves behind a legacy of beauty and warmth that will continue to inspire all who knew her.
Born on June 11, 1962, Sue was the daughter of Marie Henegar and Don Henegar. The support and encouragement she received from both her mother and father helped shape her into the strong, compassionate woman everyone admired.
After graduating high school, Sue worked at a photography studio where she met the love of her life, Joe. The two quickly became inseparable, marrying soon after and together raising three children: Joe Jr., Heather and Megan.
Sue's passion for art and creativity blossomed throughout her life, particularly when it came to decorating her home for the holidays. She poured love and craftsmanship into hand-painted, award-winning displays, creating an unforgettable Halloween house that became a beloved tradition in her community. Every year, people came from near and far to witness the magic she created.
Despite being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, Sue never allowed her condition to slow her down. She faced each day with resilience and a positive spirit, always finding ways to pursue her passions. Sue's love for travel, especially to Disney, became one of her greatest joys. She treasured the time spent there with her children and four grandchildren, relishing in the magic and making memories that will be cherished forever.
Sue's creativity, strength, and love for her family have left a lasting impact on the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her husband Joe, children Joe Jr., Heather and Megan, her four grandchildren, her mother Marie Henegar and all of her extended family and friends.
