Suzanne Irene Provencher, 74, of Laconia, formerly of Hooksett, passed away from a sudden illness on January 6, 2018. Born on April 16, 1943 in Manchester, NH, Sue was the only daughter of the late Lionel Graveline Sr. and Marcelle (Barbeau) Graveline. Sue was a caring and selfless woman who always put others before herself; from volunteering at the Lakes Region General Hospital to the Women's Prison, she was always there to lend a hand to those in need. An animal lover, Sue enjoyed her pets immensely. Most of all, she loved her family and took great joy in hosting family get-togethers. She will be best remembered as a kind and compassionate mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Survivors include her son Joseph Provencher and wife Cindy of Pembroke, NH; her daughter Joann McGee and husband David of Goffstown, NH; her brothers Daniel Graveline of Manchester, NH and Lionel Graveline Jr. and wife Irene of Windham, NH; her grandchildren Sean and Ryan Provencher, Meagan and Craig McGee, and Chyloe Silver; as well as five great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her former husband, Albert J. Provencher and her brother, Robert Graveline. A memorial gathering will be held at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St, Manchester, NH on Friday, January 19th from 4-6:30pm with a memorial service to take place at 6:30. Family and friends are invited to attend.
