Suzanne "Sue" Rae Rawlings, age 75, passed away at home on February 10, 2023, surrounded by loved ones. Sue was born on March 15, 1947 in Minneapolis, MN to Bud and Judy Williams. Sue was passionate about her family, her friends, and her community. She loved to travel and introduced her many nieces and nephews to new experiences, cultures, and food.
She was a patriotic supporter of our nation's veterans leading her to donate her beloved, $4M "Farm" in Dayton, MN to the Magnus Veterans Foundation to provide care for Minnesota veterans and their families. Sue personally planted every garden on the beautiful 37-acre estate, leaving an enduring legacy of selfless commitment to our veterans.
Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent E. Egan; parents, Bud and Judy Williams; sisters, Beverly Bandemer and Lois Kohl; and nephew, Troy Bandemer.
She is survived by her sister, Nancy Alderman; brother-in-law, Chet Bandemer; and many loving nephews, nieces, and lifelong friends.
A celebration of Sue's life will be held Saturday, February 25, 2023, at Word of Peace Lutheran Church, 21705 129th Ave. N., Rogers, MN with visitation starting at 10 AM and the service at 11 AM. A light luncheon will immediately follow the service at the Crown Room, Rogers, MN.
