Funeral services for Mr. Walker Rawlings will begin at 11:00 AM Friday, August 29, 2025, at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Mac Barnes officiating. Interment will follow graveside rites at Magnolia Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mr. Rawlings, 56, of Meridian, died Saturday, August 23, 2025, at James T. Champion Nursing Center following a hard fought battle with cancer.

Walker never met a stranger, he had a good-natured, easy going, kind personality. He had the ability to make friends wherever he went, usually connecting through his love of all things sports. He was an avid Mississippi State Fan. He worked for 38 years for Judge Little Sporting Goods and All Stars Sports. Walker was a loving Father and always enjoyed spending time with Tucker at any given time. He adored his family, and they too adored him; his love for family was fierce. In the last few years, Walker resided at Dalewood Shore Lake; this was a community who embraced him, and his fight with cancer, always helping in any way possible. He fought courageously over the last ten years; he never let the cancer defeat him mentally or physically, always putting others first. He has run the race and fought the good fight and has now entered into the reward of his Lord and Savior.

Walker is survived by his son, Tucker Rawlings; his sisters, Rhonda Shannon (Len) and Karen Camp (Bob); as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.

Mr. Rawlings is preceded in death by his parents, Lefty and Mary Belle Rawlings; and his brother, Vernon Rawlings.

Pallbearers will be Bob Camp, Matthew Camp, Len Shannon, Braden Shannon, Neil Shannon, and Mike Thomas. Honorary Pallbearer will be Connor Moheb.

The Rawlings Family suggests memorials be made as donations to The American Cancer Society or to the Baptist Anderson Regional Cancer Center Benevolence Fund in lieu of flowers.

Family and friends are encouraged to express online condolences at robertbarhamffh.com.

The Rawlings Family will receive guests from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM prior to funeral rites in the chapel on Friday.
